1. Data Accessed from Google / YouTube

Our application accesses Google and YouTube user data only after you explicitly authorize access through Google OAuth.

The specific types of data accessed include:

• YouTube channel ID and basic channel metadata (such as channel name and status)
• YouTube video metadata (such as video ID, title, description, upload status, and publishing status)
• Comments and comment threads associated with videos owned by the authorized channel

We do not access personal Google Account data such as email content, contacts, calendars, Google Drive files, or other unrelated Google services.

2. Google API Scopes Used

Our application requests the following Google API scopes:

• youtube.upload – to upload videos to authorized YouTube channels
• youtube.readonly – to read channel, video, and comment information
• youtube.force-ssl – to ensure secure, encrypted communication with the YouTube Data API

These scopes are used strictly to provide functionality explicitly requested by the authorized user.

3. How We Use Google / YouTube Data

We use Google and YouTube data solely to provide core application functionality, including:

• Displaying YouTube channel and video information within our internal dashboard
• Uploading videos to YouTube channels when initiated by the authorized user
• Managing and responding to comments related to authorized YouTube channels

We do not use Google or YouTube user data for:

• Advertising or marketing
• User profiling
• Analytics unrelated to the requested service

4. Data Storage and Retention

OAuth access tokens and related authorization credentials are stored securely and used only to perform authorized API operations.

• Access tokens are encrypted at rest
• Tokens are transmitted only over secure, encrypted connections
• YouTube video content files are not stored beyond the upload process

We retain Google and YouTube user data only for as long as necessary to provide the requested services or until access is revoked by the user.

5. Sensitive Data Protection and Security Measures

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect sensitive Google and YouTube user data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

• All data transmissions use HTTPS and TLS encryption
• Sensitive authorization data is encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption methods
• Access to stored data is restricted to authorized personnel only and follows the principle of least privilege
• Application infrastructure is protected by firewalls, access controls, and monitoring systems
• Data collection is limited to the minimum necessary to provide the requested functionality

We do not sell, rent, or share Google or YouTube user data with any third parties.

Google and YouTube user data is not shared with advertisers, data brokers, or external analytics providers.

7. User Control, Access Revocation, and Data Deletion

Upon revocation, our application will no longer be able to access your Google or YouTube data.

8. Compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy
